Madeline's House
Madeline's House is a safe house for victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault. We offer a wide range of services including:
- 24-hour Crisis Hotline
- Crisis Intervention and a Crisis Response Team
- Emergency transportation to shelter
- Shelter, food & clothing
- Personalized Case Management
- Individual and Substance Abuse Counseling
- Support Groups
- Court Advocacy and Legal Assistance
- Transportation to appointments and job interviews
- Community referrals
- Domestic and Sexual Violence information and education
- Job training and support, housing support, recreational and theraputic activities
- 30-day follow-up after departing shelter
- Outreach services to community
Piedmont Crisis Center
The Piedmont Crisis Center offers 24 hour assistance for victims of rape and sexual assault. Piedmont Crisis Center provides services that include:
- 24-hour crisis intervention
- Victim advocacy and personal accompaniment to free medical exams, law enforcement interviews, and court proceedings
- Information and referrals to other community services
- Support Groups
- Assistance with victim compensation claims
- Educational programs for schools and communities
