- is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through a staffed HOTLINE 1-888-819-2926
- provides emergency transportation to the shelter
- provides personalized case management to each woman entering the shelter
- assures the availability of individual counseling for each resident
- holds regular support groups for residents on topics from personal growth to basic life and job skills
- assists residents in obtaining legal service and provides court advocacy
- ensures transportation to necessary appointments such as health care, counseling, social service, and court mandated appointments.
- educates residents about issues of domestic violence and sexual assault, and about the resources available to them
- assists with job searches and job seeking skills
- provides follow-up care to departing residents and
- works continually to provide community education and information about the issues of domestic violence and sexual assault
- provided over 4,800 bed nights in 2008 to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
